I doubt it will be very original, and I don't expect it to be very good, but I'll give it a shot for a few weeks at least. The basic plot could be said to pick up where the final scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark ended, in a giant warehouse full of mysterious objects. Two government agents are recruited to scour the globe for new items to add to the warehouse, which is curated by Artie Nielsen (Saul Rubinek). The agents are Pete Lattimer (Eddie McClintock, whom I know from a story-arc on Bones and another on My Boys) and Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly, whom I liked a lot as the vampire Bianca on The Dresden Files, and as Liberty Kaufman in the second season of Jeremiah).
CCH Pounder is in the pilot, but I'm not sure if she will be a regular, even though IMDB.com shows her to be in six episodes. Their info is not always reliable, especially before a show is broadcast. I would think an actress of her stature would be cost prohibitive for a production of this type.
It will air first at 9pm (8 Central) on Tuesday, July 7, in a two-hour timeslot, but IMDB shows the encore showing to start at 11:04pm. I doubt if it will be longer than the typical two-hour show, just that the network will run more commercials than usual.
