I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this one yet. I saw it today and just posted a review. It is short, but positive. I didn't think I needed to say much about it considering the exposure it has already received.

Saw it this morning. My basic opinion is, oh, aside from 'Batman Begins' there were other Batman movies? Huh...

I would concur with OGRE's assessment, but even go so far as to ask, "Why are people who aren't Christopher Nolan even bothering to make superhero
movies?" I hope everyone responsible for that "Spider-man 3" bullshit saw this movie and wept.

Spiderman 3 is the "anti-Superhero Movie Maker's Handbook". Rami got too much money and power or something happened. It was like what happened to
The Matrix. I wouldn't watch it again for love nor money...

Why the hell isn't everyone out watching this movie right now?

Well, at the time you posted that I was working, and I'm wondering why you weren't as well. Either you were home for lunch, or by chance were you posting from the theater with a new iPhone or other gadget you haven't told me about yet? |

Sorry to be a wet blanket....but as the only member of my family even remotely interested in it, it will not be a theatrical event for me. I'll wait for
the DVD. Not that I couldn't push the issue, but I'm saving all of my "nerd movie" points for Star Trek. I want no arguments
that I've already dragged them to too many of "my" movies...

I've seen it twice after today, simply the greatest comic book movie of all time. Heath Ledger and Aaron Eckhart totally stole that movie. I will see it as
many times as I can before its gone...

You'll have many opportunities to see this one in the theater, it's gonna be around for a while. The speculation has been that by this evening, or
tomorrow at the latest, it will have surpassed $400 million, doing so in just 18 or 19 days, besting Shrek 2's record pace by nearly 20 days. It is already
at #8 on the all-time box office list and should move up another rung, passing Spider-Man, by the end of the week. I still haven't seen it again, but I
will soon.

The Dark Knight will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on
December 9. The link here and in the header announcement is for the single-disc widescreen DVD, but there is also a two-disc edition, Blu-Ray of course, and
for some reason they are still producing full-screen versions.
