I may have to redo this in coming days or weeks, but I might as well start another thread on this upcoming film based on the late, lamented tv series Firefly.
As I have mentioned previously, I got to see an advance preview a few weeks back (May 5), and since then there has been another screening (May 26). I didn't get to the second one, but from what I've read at other sites, there may have been a few minor edits from the previous screening, but I'm not positive about that. One thing that many have said, and I agree with, is that the film is so very action-packed and fast-paced in a lot of spots, that minor details might not have been noticed the first time around.
There are heavy rumors about a possible third round of screenings, supposedly on June 23, and I am going to do my best to get tickets if that is the case. It is all just speculation at this stage, but some info I have seen comes from a person who also gave advance notice (and correct info) on the earlier screenings.
The first screening was in 10 different cities, the second one was in those same theaters plus 10 others, and the tentative list for the third round includes 25 venues. As I say, this is not confirmed, just rumor, but if interested keep checking at cantstopthesignal.com/ for official news. That site tells you where you can get tickets, either fandango.com or movietickets.com, or you could go directly to the theater. But if it is anything like the two other times, most venues will sell out rather quickly, and possibly some theaters will put tickets up for sale even before the official announcement.
