I vaguely recall watching the 80s series when I was a kid. I only remember maybe a couple of episodes, one of which was "To See the Invisible Man." I didn't see the other one listed in the marathon. So I just recorded that one and watched it today. There was one scene I clearly remembered, involving a blind man, but I remember a waiter whispering "invisible" to him, but watching the episode now, it was a waitress. That's weird. Also there's a woman at the end who the main character talks to after regaining visibility. I kind of thought he'd talked to a man, but again I was wrong. Oh well. It was nice to see the episode again. I think, though, I remember a scene that wasn't in the episode at all, this time. Unless the DVR missed it, because the episode did get broken up at one point. I dunno. Anyway, the punishment seems pretty unreasonable, in some ways (denying medical treatment shouldn't happen). But it did fit the crime... which isn't something that should be a crime in the first place. (I had no recollection of what his crime was, before this.) It's something I sort of worry I could be accused of. It also makes me wonder, in this day and age, would he be allowed to use the internet? But of course that's not something that could have been addressed back then. I also wonder how he could afford to live. I'm sure he must've stolen some things, but he could hardly steal an apartment. I wonder if the landlord would be required to let him live there rent-free for a year, and not try to rent the place to someone else?

Anyway. I think that's all I'll likely be watching of the marathon, though I might catch an episode tomorrow, we'll see.
