I just watched a documentary newly released on dvd, Harlan
Ellison: Dreams With Sharp Teeth. I will be writing a full review soon, probably not until the weekend though, but wanted to mention in now.
I know a lot of people hate Harlan for the curmudgeon he is, and he readily admits his faults, but damn, the guy can write rings around most anyone else, and I think more people should be aware of his work. It has been over a year since I updated my Ellison article, originally written nearly nine years ago, shortly after we created this site. In that update I mentioned this film making the rounds of conventions and film festivals, but it wasn't released on dvd until last month.
